Safety Information

General safety instructions

** For use by adults over the age of 18 - Not to be used by anyone under the age of 18.

** Adult users must be competent, self aware and confident in using products safely

** Read and follow manufacturer instructions provided with any products you are using

** Failure to read and follow manufacturer instructions could result in fire, hazard, injury or death

** Keep out of the reach of children, pets & flammable materials/surfaces

** Keep flame away from flammable materials, sources of heat, overhanging objects and polished surfaces

** May cause allergic reaction (skin/respiratory) - If allergic reaction occurs, stop using product immediately and seek medical attention

** Do not eat - If ingested and/or reaction occurs, seek medical attention

** Please do not attempt to light a candle or tea light if you do not feel safe or confident to do so. It is 

     recommended to get additional help/support to light the candle / tea light 

** Please retain all safety information for future reference for ANY and ALL products you are using

Wax melt safety instructions

  • Remove wax melt from packaging
  • Place wax melt into the well of an approved max melter/burner (ceramic or electric)
  • Use with unscented tea light burner or in an approved electric wax melter, following manufacturers instructions for safety
  • Burn wax melt within sight - Never leave unattended
  • Check your max melter regularly for cracks or damage
  • Do not use your wax melter if there are visible signs of cracks or damage
  • Containter may get hot whilst wax melt is melting
  • Use an approved wax melter & ensure it is placed on a level, heat resistant, non-polished surface
  • Clean burner after each use, ensuring the well is clean and dry before adding next wax melt
  • Keep away from drafts, vibrations and uneven surfaces
  • Do not move whilst lit, allow to cool before moving
  • Do not touch melted wax - it is hot and it will burn

Melting Safety Instructions


  • Store product in cool, dry place below 25 degrees, away from direct sunlight
  • Do not burn candles on or near anything that can catch fire.
  • Place candles in an upright position on a secure heat resistant surface 
  • Do not move a burning candle. 
  • Containers may become hot during use, avoid touching or moving once lit. 
  • Do not move holder once wax is liquid
  • Do not place candles in a draught
  • Extinguish a candle if it smokes, flickers repeatedly, or the flame becomes too high
  • Always snuff out the flame. Do not blow out. 
  • Extinguish candle using a snuffer or the back of a metal spoon, taking care not to damage the wick
  • Keep the wax pool clear of matches and other debris to avoid flaring 
  • Always leave at least 5cm between burning tea lights
  • Always use a candle holder which is capable of containing any wax spillage
  • Only use tea lights in holders & warming stoves with sufficient ventilation
  • Never use liquid to extinguish
  • Use regular unscented tea lights, not 8 hour long burn. Wax may become too hot and reaction may occur

  • Burn candle within sight - Never leave unattended
  • Containter may get hot whilst candle is burning
  • Ensure candle is placed on a level, heat resistant surface
  • Do not eat - if ingested, seek medical attention
  • Keep away from drafts and vibrations
  • Do not move whilst lit, allow to cool first
  • Do not touch melted wax - it will burn
  • Trim candle wick to 1/4 inch or 5mm before each lighting
  • Do not burn candle for longer than 3 hours
  • Never leave unattended
  • Allow to cool before re-lighting
  • Keep candle free from foreign materials, including wick trimmings
  • Store in cool, dry place below 25 degrees, away from sunlight
  • Do not light candle over heating item
  • Do not light candle under shelving
